- Open the trunk soundproof cover and disconnect the negative pole of the battery.
2. Open the packing box of the crystal set, and confirm the quantity of all products and accessories. (Shift head, one button start, stopper assembly, rear cover, stopper heightening part, semicircular structural part, snake glue, special screwdriver, special prying plate, special screw, special flat mouth forceps for wire arrangement, and art knife)
3. Take out the black snake glue, shape it into a cone, and press it firmly on the original start button(Do not pull it out at the moment, it takes 15 minutes for the snake glue to release its viscosity).
4. Tear off the crystal shield and wrap the electrostatic film around one end of the skid board for subsequent construction.
5. Heat the gear display panel of the original gear handle properly with the low-temperature gear of the baking gun or the hair dryer to soften the glue at the lower layer, pry the panel with a prying plate, unscrew the rear three screws, separate the other original gear handle components, open the buckle of the cable arrangement upward and separate the cable arrangement from the slot, remove the computer board of the original gear handle, leaving only the rear shell of the original gear handle.
6. Unscrew the fixing screw of the original gear handle and slowly pull out the original gear (important note: the connection structure between the original gear and the shift base is very close. It is easy to damage the cable or cable connector when pulling out the gear by hand. When pulling out the gear, the prying plate must be used to hold the connection, and the fulcrum of the prying plate will not leave. The lifting distance of the prying plate shall be controlled as much as possible on the base plane of the shift mechanism. The prying distance range must be less than the margin of the length of the cable connector. Pry the original gear handle loose and pull it out slowly, Specific actions (refer to the picture).
7. Cut off the plastic protective rod behind the shift lever with an art knife, pass the flat cable through the special heightening connector for the crystal gear, and then press it down to the fixed point (in order to prevent the crystal gear from being used and fastened in the later stage, the size of the heightening part is very precise, so it is difficult to install it to the fixed position, so it needs to be pressed down repeatedly)
8. Install the upper semicircle structure, Screw in matching structural screws, install the crystal stopper, screw in the rear fixing screw, and then clamp the cable with flat tweezers (pay attention to the direction, rotate 180degrees correctly), ensure that the original cable is correctly inserted into the chip slot of the crystal stopper, and fasten the buckle. Then cover the rear cover to finish the installation of the stopper.
9. Open the upper cover of the multimedia knob with the side of the shift skipping (remember that the computer board under the handwriting board of the upper cover is connected with the knob body with a short line, the use range of the rocker should not be too large, it is appropriate to find two to three diagonal points to separate the upper and lower buckle relationship, and then separate all the upper cover buckles one by one)
10. After separating from the upper cover of the original car knob, hold the edge of the black handwritten area with your finger, lift the electroplated outer ring of the upper cover to separate it, and remove the outer ring.
11. Heat the black handwritten area of the knob properly with a low-temperature oven gun or a hair dryer to soften the glue on the lower layer of the black soft plastic sheet slightly.
12. Completely tear the plastic sheet on the surface of the computer board and clean the residual glue on the computer board to ensure the sensitivity of the handwriting function to be installed again (the computer board and transparent plastic parts in the knob may be displaced during the above process, and the fixed point can be stuck according to the original position)
13. Tear off the crystal knob lens front protective film and 3M glue on the back, the four-direction arrow, and the computer board on the direction of the hole alignment and bonding,(this step is irreversible, the crystal arrow knob under the transparent layer must be aligned)
14. Align the flattest large notch in the electroplating ring with the position of 10:30 on the knob base, align the other four small notches up, down, left, and right with the cross position, and gently press the buckle to complete knob installation.
15. Pull out the start button of the original vehicle upward quickly, and buckle the crystal start button, so that all three sets of crystal have been installed.
16. Connect the battery negative pole, readjust the system time, and start your crystal journey.
